Pets:

We often have young males, females or wethers for sale that have been halter trained and will readily take hay or lucerne from the hand. These animals make excellent pets, but we recommend that you buy 2 as they are a herd animal that rely on companions for comfort and safety.

At present (February 2010), most of our females are pregnant and about to give birth or have just recently had their cria.

A few of these baby cria will become available to people wishing to purchase a lovely pet.

They will be ready in about 6 months time which is when they are weaned and halter trained.

Prices start from - $350 per cria (for male cria - most will be this price)

- $1000 per cria (for female cria)

Prices are dependant upon sex (males are usually cheaper), colour and quality.

Bella: Price $1000

Bella is an extremely friendly dark fawn female born in April 2009.

She eats from your hand and is halter trained.

She would make a great pet and can be bred from if wanted.

Herd Guards:

As guards for lambs, goats, turkeys and adult sheep, wethers (neutured males) make an excellent choice at keeping foxes / eagles / stray dogs from your stock.  Your outlay for the wethers is repaid in the lambs that make the market. We currently have wethers ready to work which can be introduced to your flocks now which will give you peace of mind as to the safety of your livelyhood.

Wethers/Herd Guards for sale:

We currently have no wethers left for sale, however please feel free to contact us for when we may have more available or other options that may suit your needs.

Female alpacas also make great or even better guards as they have a natural instinct to protect their young. At the moment we have several pregnant females for sale at a great price. Click here.
